Oakland Gunshot Victim Suffers Superficial Wound To The Head

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A man shot in East Oakland Saturday morning was expected to survive from his injury, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of Fern Street around 4:30 a.m., according to police.

The man suffered a superficial wound to his head and was transported to a hospital, police said.

No arrests were made and no suspect information was immediately available.
