Nothing Foul About Boy's Reaction To Giants Fan's Kind Gesture
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – There are few moments in a fan's life that will equal the joy of catching a foul ball at a Major League Baseball game.
Every game, dozens of fans come armed with the trusty baseball gloves just to enhance their chances when the diamond fates smile on them.
Many even risk ejection from the game to make their dream catch come true.
And then there are moments like in Wednesday's San Francisco-Giants Brewers game at AT&T Park.
With Johnny Cueto on the mound, motoring his way to his 10th win for Giants, a foul ball soared into the stands. One of those fans armed with a glove reached
up and made just such a dream catch.
Then with a wave, he reached over several seats and handed the ball to a young fan.
Overcome with joy, the young boy ignored the man's hand held out in a high-five gesture and instead embraced him in a warm hug.
A moment that touched the hearts of those gathered.
