Not Much Left Of Candlestick Park As Demolition Nears Home Stretch

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Decades of memories are being reduced to rubble, and there's not much left of Candlestick Park.

Crews have been busy knocking it down, and the demolition of the former home of the 49ers and Giants started in February was expected to take three months.

The work is nearing the home stretch and could be done in a matter of weeks.

"The Stick" is being torn down to make way for a new multi-use development.
