NorCal Man Reported Missing Discovered In Shallow Grave, Police Arrest Wife

MARYSVILLE (CBS/AP) -- A Northern California woman who reported her husband missing in January has been arrested on suspicion of killing him and burying him in a shallow grave.

The Yuba County Sheriff's department said a tip from an anonymous source led detectives to the grave in Plumas Lake on Friday. Tattoos on the body led them to identify the man as 33-year-old Juan Miguel Rodriguez.

Detectives served a search warrant at Rodriguez's home and found evidence that led them to arrest his wife, 33-year-old Monica Kelly Rodriguez.

She was booked into jail for investigation of murder.

Investigators said she asked two women to help her get rid of the body. Information about how the husband was killed, and the names of the two women were not released.
