NFL Commissioner Goodell Suggests 49ers, Raiders Share Levi's Stadium

SANTA CLARA (KPIX 5) -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in Santa Clara for the ribbon cutting ceremony at Levi's stadium, where he suggested the Raiders might share the new stadium with the 49ers.

Goodell praised the $1.2 billion facility for being on the cutting edge of technology, and despite the sea of red and gold in nearly every corner of the new stadium, Goodell suggested it could look good in Raiders silver and black too.

"We believe a new stadium is appropriate for the Raiders. They have to make that determination whether they're in Oakland, or whether they feel it's best to join this stadium, but they're working on that's one of the decisions they'll have to make going through it," Goodell said.
