New 'Bridget Jones's Baby' Trailer Delivered
(CBS SF) – Universal Pictures has delivered a new preview for the upcoming movie "Bridget Jones's Baby" starring Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth. Keep an eye out for Ed Sheeran.
The two Academy Award-winners will be joined by Patrick Dempsey and directed by Sharon Maguire, who helmed the first film. 2004's "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" was directed by Beeban Kidron, best known for "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" with Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo.
The film is based on the characters of Helen Fielding. This time around, we find Ms. Jones in a unexpected place, even for herself. She winds up breaking up with Mark Darcy (Firth), in her forties and single once again. She decides to focus on work, reconnect with old friends and begin to have a relationship with an American friend, Jack (Dempsey). Sounds like Jones is in control until she finds out she's pregnant and is not sure who the father is.
"Bridget Jones's Baby" is set to arrive or you can say, "due" in theaters nationwide on September 16, 2016.
