Neil Young Is Working With Rapper D.R.A.M.

By Hayden Wright

(RADIO.COM) – Neil Young has had a busy week, turning 71 and visiting the Dakota Access Pipeline protests with his girlfriend, Daryl Hannah. He's also got a big, unusual collaboration in the works with rapper D.R.A.M. A video recorded from the backyard of Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios shows D.R.A.M. summarizing his upcoming record with Young and The Social Experiment.

"[We got] Neil Young in there," the rapper announces. "It's why we do this — just bringing all these worlds together."

The historic studios have a curious fixture in the back yard: Bob Dylan's old tour bus, where Young, D.R.A.M. and other collaborators are pictured working. The behind-the-scenes footage serve as a teaser for something we can't quite ascertain, but there's undeniable talent across the board.
