Naya Rivera & Big Sean Call Off Wedding

(KBCW) - Six months after announcing their engagement, rapper Big Sean and Glee actress Naya Rivera has decided to cancel plans to marry.

Big Sean's publicist Tracy Nguyen made a statement Wednesday that Sean "...hopes the two can continue to work through their issues privately."

"The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter," the statement said.

In October 2013, the couple made public their engagement when Rivera was spotted with an engagement ring at Latina magazine's Hollywood Hot List bash. Six months before, the couple met via Twitter, however neither tweeted the break-up.

Rivera is best known as Santana on the hit series "Glee." Big Sean is best known for his second album, "Hall of Fame." The two have collaborated when Big Sean appeared on Rivera's single "Sorry." Rivera's brother Mychal is a tight end for the Oakland Raiders.
