6 Injured In Vasco Road Crash In Unincorporated Contra Costa

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY -- A main road is open again in unincorporated Contra Costa County east of Byron Thursday afternoon following a head-on collision, officials with the California Highway Patrol said.

Both directions of Vasco Road about three miles south of Camino Diablo are open again as of 4:32 p.m.

The road had been closed for about two hours.

CHP Officer Eric Anderson said the collision left two people with major injuries, two with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries.
