Mountain View Police Release Surveillance Video Showing Person Of Interest In Commercial Burglary

MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- Mountain View police have released video footage of person of interest in a burglary of a downtown business last Sunday.

The person is seen entering a business in the 200 block of Castro Street where a cellphone was stolen on Oct. 12, police said.

The person is described as a black man with a medium to heavy build seen in the video wearing a black San Francisco Giants jersey and a black San Francisco Giants hat, police said.

The video footage from the store's surveillance system does not accurately show the colors of the man's clothing, according to police.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Mountain View police at (650) 903-6395. Anonymous tips can be left by text message to 274637 with the words "MV tips" in the body of the message.
