Motorist Freed From Vehicle After Big-Rig Crash On I-80

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters removed a person who was trapped in a vehicle after a collision with a big-rig on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Vallejo Thursday morning, fire officials said.

The vehicle was pinned between the big-rig and center median on the highway near Georgia Street.

The Vallejo Fire Department responded to the incident, which was reported around 10 a.m., and the motorist was freed from the vehicle around 10:40 a.m.
