Motorcyclist Killed In Oakland Crash

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A man riding a motorcycle died shortly after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle Sunday evening in Oakland, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at 6 p.m. at 73rd Avenue and Weld Street where the collision occurred, Officer James Moore said. The collision occurred at 5:49 p.m.

The person driving the vehicle stopped and cooperated with police, Moore said.
