Mother, Son Arrested In Dublin Stabbing

DUBLIN (CBS SF) -- Dublin police were investigating a stabbing that left a man in the hospital early Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to the area of Brannigan Street near Fallon Middle School on reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers were able to locate a 22-year-old man who was suffering from an apparent stab wound to the right hand and abdomen.

The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

An investigation revealed the victim had been staying with a friend nearby in the area of Brodie Way and Houlton Street for several days.

Police responded to the residence and were able to locate evidence of an attack leading from the street to the front door and contacted residents Donna Forehand and her 18-year-old son Trevor Forehand.

Further investigation revealed the victim and Trevor were friends and following an argument, Trevor allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife.

Trevor Forehand was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and Donna Forehand was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to the incident.
