Men Pulled Over In Stolen Car With Burglary Tools Arrested In Morgan Hill

MORGAN HILL (CBS SF) -- Police arrested two men on suspicion of possessing burglary tools Saturday in Morgan Hill during a high-risk traffic stop involving an allegedly stolen vehicle.

Officers stopped the car after observing erratic driving in the vicinity of Monterey Road and Vineyard Boulevard, and quickly determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Salinas.

Augustine Ybarra, 21, and Michael Rashe, 22, were arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, possessing a stolen vehicle, auto burglary, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, driving under the influence of drugs, driving on a suspended license, felony theft and receiving stolen property.

Police suspect that Ybarra and Rashe may have committed other property crimes in the area and they're looking for victims who may be missing a musical instrument.

They're asking anyone with additional information to contact the Morgan Hill Police Department at (408) 779-2101.
