Mobile Home Park Evacuated After Windsor Firefighters Find Possible Explosive

WINDSOR (CBS SF) -- Evacuations are under way this afternoon at a motor home park in Windsor after firefighters started fighting a fire and discovered what appeared to be an explosive device, a spokeswoman with the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office received the first report of the incident at 3:37 p.m. at the Windsor Wine Country RV Park at 8225 Conde Lane.

A fire broke out in one of the homes and when firefighters went next door they found what appeared to be an explosive device, prompting a response by the bomb squad, sheriff's spokeswoman Sgt. Cecile Focha said.
