Missing 7-Year-Old Walnut Creek Boy Found

WALNUT CREEK (CBS SF) – A 7-year-old boy who was reported missing Wednesday morning has been located, according to Walnut Creek police.

It was announced at 9:49 a.m. that the boy, Dylan Lounegov, had been found after police said about an hour earlier that he was missing.

Police initially said he was last seen at 3 a.m. Wednesday and then possibly seen again at about 7:30 a.m. on Ygnacio Valley Road.

According to KCBS reporter Margie Shafer, the boy rode his bicycle to school without permission. The boy was apparently hiding in a school restroom when he was found.
