FOUND: Missing 16-Year Old Richmond Girl Possibly Held Against Her Will Located In San Francisco

RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- A 16-year-old Richmond girl who had been missing since New Year's Day after possibly being held against her will was found Monday night in San Francisco, a police lieutenant said Tuesday.

No information was immediately available on her condition.

The teen was reported missing Sunday after last being seen at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at her home, Richmond police Lt. Joey Schlemmer said.

On Monday, investigators had information indicating that the teen was possibly being held captive by a 21-year-old man, and perhaps another man, who is "refusing to allow her to come home," Schlemmer said.

Schlemmer said she had posted a strange Facebook message Saturday indicating that she was scared and unable to get home and to let her father know. Later, cousin Deandre Woodwards said she made a frantic phone call to her grandmother Sunday morning.
