Mineta San Jose Airport Adding Nonstop Flights To Beijing
SAN JOSE (KCBS)_ Mineta San Jose International Airport is adding nonstop service to Beijing on Hainan Airlines to its flight roster. The formal announcement about the service addition will be made on Tuesday by Mayor Sam Liccardo.
The flights are set to begin in June.
Hainan Airlines is the largest privately owned airline in China. It is proposing to use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in its route.
Currently, San Francisco International Airport is the only Bay Area airport offering nonstop daily service to China.
