Median Rent Jumps To $4,225 In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A shocking new number representing the median rent in San Francisco shows just how expensive it is to live in the city.
The web site Zillow reports the new median rent is a whopping $4,225 a month.
That includes all types of rentals.
Rent in the Bay Area has gotten so expensive that even some well-paid tech workers are choosing to flee for cheaper living elsewhere.
