McDonald's Begins Selling Breakfast All Day

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- To the delight of breakfast lovers, starting Tuesday most of the items on McDonald's breakfast menu will be available all day long.

The fast food giant hopes the move will boost sales.

"We are thrilled to launch All Day Breakfast to our customers throughout the greater Bay Area," said Lee Ann Freeman, local owner operator. "It's always wonderful to offer customers more opportunity to enjoy their favorite items, and breakfast is a favorite for so many McDonald's patrons."

McDonald's began testing the extended breakfast menu back in March. The availability of some items will vary by location.
