Masked Woman Robs 99-Cents Store In Rohnert Park

ROHNERT PARK (CBS SF) -- A masked woman robbed a 99 Cents Only store in Rohnert Park on Sunday night and fled with cash in a vehicle, Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officials said.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the store at 415 Rohnert Park Expressway at 9:30 p.m. and found the employees shaken up but safe, public safety officials said.

During the robbery, the female suspect took two store staff members to an office and held them at gunpoint. She then fled out the back of the store to a waiting vehicle possibly occupied by two more armed suspects, public safety officials said.

The store had been closing for the day when the robbery occurred, according to public safety officials.
