Masked Men Kidnap Driver In Oakland During Robbery

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police are still looking for two masked men who kidnapped a driver in East Oakland on Monday night and forced him to take them to the Oakland Hills, police said Wednesday.

The man told police that the two masked men held him at gunpoint while he was in his car in the area of 95th Avenue and International Boulevard at about 9 p.m. Monday.

The men got into the car and ordered him to drive them to Sequoyah Road and Mountain Boulevard in the Oakland Hills. They pistol-whipped him there, then robbed him and ran away, police said.

The man was not seriously injured and was treated for his injuries at the scene. Police checked the area but could not locate the suspects.

There have not been any arrests in the case. Anyone with information has been asked to contact Oakland police at (510) 238-3326.
