Masked Men Rob Taco Truck In Watsonville

WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) -- Police are asking for the public's help finding two masked men who allegedly robbed a taco truck at gunpoint Saturday night in Watsonville.

The robbery was reported at 11:08 p.m. in the vicinity of Freedom Boulevard and Crestview Drive.

The suspects approached the taco truck, demanding money from two employees and a customer. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and all three victims complied with the demands out of fear for their lives, according to police.

The suspects fled north on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, and responding officers were unable to find them during a search, police said.

They are described as two Hispanic men, 20 to 25 years old and five to six feet tall. Both suspects were wearing bandanas over their faces at the time of the robbery, according to police.

The suspect with the handgun had brown eyes. He was wearing a white bandanna, a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect had a gray bandanna, a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, police said.
