Manson's Fiance Reportedly Wanted To Display Mass-Murderer's Body For Profit

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The real reason behind Charles Manson's decision not to wed his fiancé has been revealed.

The New York Post reported that the mass murderer's bride-to-be only wanted to marry Manson so she could put his corpse on display after his death.

Afton Elaine Burton reportedly planned to charge people to see Manson's body inside a glass crypt reminiscent of Lenin's tomb.

The story quickly circulated on San Francisco-based Twitter.

The wedding license expired last week.
