Manhunt For Attackers In 2 Sexual Assaults On Male Hikers On Santa Rosa Trails

SANTA ROSA (CBS/AP) -- Officers are investigating two separate incidents in which three male suspects sexually assaulted two men on Sonoma County hiking trails.

One of the victims told investigators he was held at knife point during the attack in May on the Paul Creek Trail in Santa Rosa.

Police say days later a second man reported being sexually assaulted in Santa Rosa's Joe Rodota Trail by three men. The victim said the suspects were not armed.

Authorities say they haven't determined if the two assaults are connected.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected involved in either of the attacks.
