Man Walking Struck, Killed By Motorcycle In South San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man walking in South San Jose was killed when he was hit by a motorcycle Thursday night, police said.

The man was crossing Monterey Street near Lewis Road at 9:20 p.m. when he was struck by the motorcycle as the rider was headed north on Monterey, police said. The man was found on the roadway and pronounced dead there.

The man riding the motorcycle stayed at the collision scene, police said. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening.
