Man Tries To Lure 12-Year-Old Girl Into Car In Daly City
DALY CITY (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking a suspect who tried to lure a young girl into his car last month in Daly City.
Police said a 12-year-old girl was walking to school around 7:45 a.m. on Jan. 21 in the area of Lausanne Avenue and Castle Street when a car pulled alongside her and a man asked her if she wanted a ride.
The girl ignored the man, who sped off in an unknown direction driving an older gray four-door Toyota with peeling paint.
The suspect was described as being around 20 years old, according to police.
