Man Expected to Survive Stabbing Sunday in San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man who was stabbed in San Jose Sunday afternoon has stabilized and is expected to survive, police said. He was stabbed Sunday afternoon in the area of Second and Margaret streets.

Around 4:37 p.m., his injury appeared to be life-threatening but that is no longer the case, police posted on Twitter at 5:22 p.m.

The stabbing was first reported at 3:53 p.m.
