Man Shot In SF Mission District Expected To Survive

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 22-year-old man shot in San Francisco's Mission District on Saturday night is expected to survive from his injuries, a police sergeant said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 26th and Folsom streets around 9:30 p.m., Sgt. Eric. O'Neal said.

Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and arm, O' Neal said.

He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, he said.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
