Man Shot, Killed Near Elementary School In Hayward

HAYWARD (KPIX) - A man was shot and killed near a Hayward elementary school, Saturday night, according to police.

It happened at the intersection of Amador Way and Yolo Street, 2 blocks away from Burbank Elementary School.

Police responded at about 4:45 p.m., but the man did not survive.

The victims identity has not been released, and police do not have any suspects, yet.

This shooting was Hayward's fourth homicide, this year.
