Man Plunges Car Off Hillside In San Francisco's Potrero Hill Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A man survived after he lost control of his car and plunged off a hillside in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood on Wednesday evening, police said.

A report was made about 5:30 p.m. that car went over an embankment, near the area of Texas and 25 th streets and crashed landing on its roof in a Yellow Cab parking lot, according to police.

The driver, the vehicle's sole occupant, was able to get out on his own and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.

The collision remains under investigation.
