Man Missing From Santa Cruz Treatment Center Has Serious Health Issues

SANTA CRUZ (CBS SF) -- Staff members of a non-profit treatment center in unincorporated Santa Cruz reported that a 55-year-old man has been missing since last week, Santa Cruz County sheriff's officials said today.

Frank Stuefloten was last seen last Thursday at the El Dorado Center on El Dorado Avenue and has health issues that place him at risk if left untreated, sheriff's Sgt. Kelly Kent said.

Stuefloten is described as a white man who is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 132 pounds and has green eyes, gray hair and a beard, according to Kent.

He has an address in the 300 block of Ocean Street in Santa Cruz, Kent said.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information about Stuefloten's whereabouts to call sheriff's dispatch at (831) 471-1121.
