Man Injured In Shooting Near Golden Gate Park

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco police are investigating a shooting that occurred near Golden Gate Park Wednesday evening.

One man was shot at Stanyan and Haight streets around 6:45 p.m., according to Officer Albie Esparza.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital but is expected to survive his injuries.

No arrest has been made and police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call them at (415) 575-4444 or text to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
