Man In Motorcycle Gear Robs Wells Fargo In Windsor Supermarket

WINDSOR (CBS SF) -- Police said a man dressed for riding a motorcycle robbed a Wells Fargo bank in a Raley's supermarket in Windsor Tuesday morning.

The man entered the store at 8852 Lakewood Drive at 10:15 a.m. and demanded money from a teller, Windsor police Chief Chris Spallino said.

The robber said he had a gun but none was seen. The suspect put the money in a bag he brought and then left the store, Spallino said.

The suspect is a white man between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He had gray hair, a mustache and goatee, and was wearing a leather jacket and half-shell helmet, Spallino said.

No one followed the man out of the store and it is unknown if he was riding a motorcycle, Spallino said. Police planned to release a photo of the suspect later Tuesday.
