Man Hit By Car In San Jose Critically Injured, Suspect Remains At Large

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man hit by a car in San Jose near Los Lagos Golf Course Monday night suffered injuries that are considered life-threatening, a police spokeswoman said.

Police dispatch received a report of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in the area of Senter Road and Oldham Way around 8:15 p.m., Sgt.
Heather Randol said.

Officers found the man down in the street and he was taken to a hospital, Randol said.

The suspect drove from the scene and remains at large, she said.

No further details were immediately available.
