Man Found Shot Dead On San Jose Street, Car Seen Fleeing Scene

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A vehicle was seen fleeing the scene after a man was shot dead Friday evening in San Jose, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 5:38 p.m. in the 3000 block of Oakbridge Drive when several callers reported hearing multiple shots fired, according to police.

Officers found a man lying in the street with at least one gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses saw a gray compact vehicle driving away from the scene with multiple occupants, but not suspects have been identified and the vehicle has not yet been located.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
