Man Found Fatally Shot Near Antioch Waterfront

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) – A Bay Point man was shot and killed near the Antioch waterfront Wednesday morning, according to police.

Gunfire was reported about 4:45 a.m. on I Street and West First Street, near the Amtrak station and Barbara Price Marina Park, police said.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, a 39-year-old man, suffering gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police made no disclosures about possible suspects or motive in the case.
