Man Found Dead In Back Of Van In Napa

NAPA (CBS SF) -- Napa police are investigating the death of a man who was found in the back of a Pontiac van Sunday evening, a police lieutenant said.

Police were called around 6:25 p.m. to the 2000 block of Wilkins Avenue, where the reporting party and owner of the van found the unresponsive male in the back of the vehicle, Lt. Debbie Peecook said.

There were no apparent signs of foul play, Peecook said.

The van owner did not know the deceased male, Peecook said. The male's identity is known but will not be released until his family is notified, Peecook said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at (707) 253-4256.
