Man Dies In San Jose Saturday Night Shooting
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police were investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday night in East San Jose.
At 8:45 p.m. officers responded to the area of East Hills Drive and South White Road on reports of a person being shot, according to police.
Police said once on scene, officers discovered a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital where he died a short time later.
According to police, a suspect was not identified and remains at large.
The incident remains under investigation, and the identity of the victim will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
