Man Claiming He Lost An Eye When Fairfield Police Tased Him Suing For $25M

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 31-year-old man has filed a $25 million lawsuit against the Fairfield police department, saying he lost his left eye after police Tased him.

The complaint filed Thursday by Jerome Hill states that police Tased him in his eye, back and thigh after they forcibly removed him from a parked car in 2014, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Hill states that his eye was later removed as it had been pulverized, according to the complaint.

Fairfield police declined to comment on the pending lawsuit.
