Man Arrested For Burglarizing Petaluma Cellular Stores

PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- A 30-year-old man who burglarized multiple cellphone stores in Petaluma was arrested on Friday night, a police sergeant said.

An officer on a routine patrol arrested Marcus Huddleston, a transient from Petaluma, on Shasta Avenue at about 9:50 p.m., Sgt. Steve Nelson said.

Huddleston had burglarized multiple cellphone stores in the days before by entering the business, cutting a security cable attached to telephones and fleeing on a bicycle, Nelson said.

An officer recognized Huddleston in a security video and store employees confirmed his identity, he said.

Huddleston was arrested without incident and booked into Sonoma County Jail.
