Malfunction Cuts Lake Berryessa Residents Off From 911 Service

LAKE BERRYESSA (CBS SF) -- The Napa County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of Lake Berryessa of a malfunction in the 911 system.

Residents with a phone prefix of 966 will be unable to reach 911 until further notice. Affected residents are advised to call (707) 253-0911 to report emergencies.

Further information about the nature of the malfunction was not immediately available.

Residents in the area who cannot reach 911 can dial 253-0911 to report emergencies.
