Major delay reported on BART between SFO and Millbrae
BART reported a major delay between the San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae stations Friday morning because of unscheduled track maintenance.
The problem was initially reported shortly after 7:40 a.m. and affected train service in both directions between the two stations.
The unexpected track maintenance caused major delays in both directions. Trains had to single-track while crews did the maintenance work, BART spokesperson Jim Allison said.
Normal BART service resumed between the airport and Millbrae stations by about 9:45 a.m., BART spokesperson Jim Allison said.
