Magnitude 6.6 Earthquake Strikes Pacific Coast Of Mexico

(CBS SF) – A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck the Pacific coast of Mexico Thursday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The earthquake struck about 10:06 a.m. Pacific Time off the coast of Jalisco, about 166 miles southwest of Puerto Vallarta.

Both the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and National Tsunami Warning Center said there is no threat of a tsunami from this earthquake.
