Magnitude 4.8 Earthquake Strikes Off NorCal Coast Near Eureka

EUREKA (CBS SF) -- A magnitude 4.8 earthquakes struck off the coast of Eureka Monday evening, according to the USGS.

The magnitude 4.8 earthquakes struck Monday evening around 7:35 p.m.

No tsunami threat was created by the earthquake, and no injuries, or damage were initially reported.
