Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Shakes Up Riverside County In Southern California

BANNING (CBS SF) -- A magnitude-3.2 earthquake struck near the city of Banning, an eastern suburb about 85 miles east of Los Angeles. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the small quake hit shortly after 2 p.m. PDT Saturday and was centered about 14 miles northeast of Banning, a city of 30,000 people.

Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Vasquez says no one called to report damage.
