Magnitude 2.6 Earthquake Strikes Near Alamo

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A small earthquake shook the town of Alamo in Contra Costa County Sunday night.

The USGS reported a 2.6 magnitude earthquake about 7 kilometers northeast of Alamo in the East Bay shortly after 10 p.m.

The quake had a depth of approximately 14.8 kilometers. There were no reports of any damage.
