Madison Bumgarner Goes Full Paul Bunyan Mode For Giants Photo Shoot

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (CBS SF) -- The enduring image of Madison Bumgarner's domination during his epic playoff performance for the San Francisco Giants last season is getting burnished even more following a photo shoot Monday.

The Giants ace and World Series MVP is in Scottsdale for spring traning with the team, and the new buzz surrounding him involves a photo shoot for the team's magazine.

A photo posted on the teams Twitter feed shows Bumgarner in full Paul Bunyan mode - along with an obligatory ox - to help illustrate the viewpoint of Bumgarner's extraordinary exploits on the field, similar to the folk hero's tales of physical strength.

MadBum's legend as a dominating pitcher, already established in his five seasons with the Giants, was cemented in 2014 with a career high 18 wins and one of the most dominating postseason performances in Major League Baseball history.
