Man Stabbed With Machete During Argument In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A man was stabbed with a machete during an argument in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood Wednesday evening, police said.

The 49-year-old victim became involved in an argument with the suspect, a 28-year-old man, around 9:20 p.m. in the first block of Santos Avenue, according to police.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a machete before fleeing.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No arrest has been made as of Thursday morning, police said.
