Los Altos Man Has Big Plans For $1.3 Million Casino Win

LOS ALTOS (CBS SF) - A Los Altos man who recently hit the jackpot at a Northern California says he is no longer worried about debt, instead focusing on a Mexican cruise with his girlfriend and how to spend his retirement.

The life of 56-year-old Ladislau Dolovitchenyj changed just before midnight on Oct. 17, according to the San Jose Mercury News, when five cents in a Triple Blazing 7s Wild Jackpot slot game turned into $1.3 million.

Dolovitchenyj tells the newspaper he was $20 down when the winnings rolled in at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, a venue in Lincoln, Calif. the used car sales manager visits regularly enough to have once won $2,515.

"I still can't believe it's me," Dolovitchenyj said in a statement provided to the newspaper by Bally Technologies, which manufactures the game that turned him into a millionaire.
